Terms of Service

The plain-English rules for booking our services and using this site. Last updated July 5, 2026.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of the Voltix website and the booking of our electrical services. By using the site or booking a job, you agree to them. If something here doesn’t work for you, give us a call before booking — we’d rather sort it out up front.

2. Quotes & pricing

Every job starts with a fixed quote, approved by you before work begins. Quotes are valid for 30 days and cover the scope described in them. If we discover extra work once a job is open — hidden damage, out-of-code wiring — we’ll pause, explain, and quote the addition before continuing.

3. Appointments & cancellations

You can reschedule or cancel any appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the arrival window. Cancellations inside 24 hours may carry a call-out fee. If we ever need to reschedule on you, you’ll hear from us as early as possible and your job moves to the front of the queue.

4. Emergency callouts

Our 24/7 emergency line is for genuine electrical emergencies. Emergency callouts are billed at the rate quoted to you on the phone before we dispatch — never a surprise on the invoice.

5. Workmanship guarantee

Every job we complete carries a workmanship guarantee: if something we installed or repaired fails because of our work, we come back and make it right at no cost. The guarantee covers our labor; manufacturer warranties cover the parts. It doesn’t cover damage from misuse, third-party alterations, or unrelated faults.

6. Your responsibilities

We ask that you provide safe access to the work area, disclose known hazards, and keep pets and children clear while we work. Permits we pull on your behalf require accurate property information from you.

7. Website use

The content on this site — text, photos, branding — belongs to Voltix and may not be reused without permission. Don’t use the site in any way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for negligence causing personal injury.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Multnomah County, Portland.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page is the one that applies. Questions? Email hello@voltix.co or call (555) 012-3456.
